Attorney General's Opinions Referenced For Investors
This is the hub page for Attorney General Advisory Opinions pertaining to tax certificates and tax deeds. The link for this page can be found on the nav bar "AGO Certs/Deeds". I seem to get a lot of questions about things I find in the AGO's. Unfortunately, I can't always recall a specific item so I then have to look up the info again. SO I figure "might as well just post them along with brief descriptions". I am going to be providing, atleast for now, 2 seperate area.
1. Will be the AGO summaries and opinions pertaining to Tax Deeds
2. Will be the AGO summaries and opinions pertaining to tax certificates
I am doing this for my good as well as yours. I have spent a lot of years answering questions and this may provide better organization for me while providing a source of boundless information for you. My hope is that within the next few months there will be a 100 or so pages which will provide a huge amount of knowledge to those investors and professionals who are seeking it. The AGO's are a treasure trove of information as they reference case law, USC, statutes, constiutional and administrative orders, which can be rather hard to nail down by other means.
Another reason I'm doing this. I will actually use it. I have been surprised at how much I and my family rely on my site as a reference which is shared and grows based on questions, comments and answers. If you don't find the AGO of particular interest to you, run a site search from my home page. LeaveAttorney General HubGo To Home page!
The url's to the actual AGO's will be found below the form. My hope is that the ease of access will create a better understanding of the rules governing these auctions and the civil procedure mandated.
